This cozy cafe offered not only a much-needed caffeine fix but also a chance to stock up on some exceptional bags of specialty coffee. Next, we headed to Cloudrest Farm in the Ka’u district, where we were warmly welcomed by Delvin Navarro, a fifth-generation coffee farmer. Delvin shared the story of his family’s deep roots in the coffee industry and their dedication to innovation in a competitive market.

Lunch brought us to Miranda Farms (@mirandafarmscoffee), a multi-award-winning gem known for its exceptional coffee. While savoring iced lattes from their cafe, we indulged in mouthwatering tacos and pupusas from El Encanto Food Truck (@elencantofoodtruckllc), parked conveniently outside.
A Final Stop at White Nene Coffee Roasters
Our coffee-filled day concluded at the roastery of Mark Kove, founder of White Nene Coffee Roasters (@whitenenecoffee). Mark, a national coffee roasting finalist, walked us through his workshop, sharing his passion for supporting local farms and experimenting with new ideas.
