Thursday, January 16, 7:06 am: The team landed in Hilo, eager to dive into the Big Island’s coffee world. Our first destination? Big Island Coffee Roasters. This cozy cafe offered not only a much-needed caffeine fix but also a chance to stock up on some exceptional bags of specialty coffee. A quick photoshoot captured the vibrant energy of the place and our love for all things coffee.

Exploring Cloudrest Farm’s Rich Coffee Heritage

Next, we headed to Cloudrest Farm in the Ka’u district, where we were warmly welcomed by Delvin Navarro, a fifth-generation coffee farmer. Delvin shared the story of his family’s deep roots in the coffee industry and their dedication to innovation in a competitive market.
