A Celebration of Hawaiʻi-Grown Coffee

On the final day of the Hawaii Coffee Association's 2026 conference, the islands' growers, roasters, and producers gathered for one of the year's most anticipated moments: the results of the Best of Hawaiʻi competition. Coffees from across the state were submitted and blind-scored by a panel of roughly a dozen judges, and when the scores were tallied, one name led the field. Miranda's Farms, our packaging partner, took first place. The Best of Hawaiʻi competition is a statewide showcase of what makes island coffee special, bringing together farms from every growing region to be judged on quality alone. It's equal parts contest and community, a chance for the people who tend the trees and dial in the roasts to see their hard work recognized.

The Top Three

The podium came down to fractions of a point:
  • 🥇 Miranda's Farms — 87.84
  • 🥈 Hula Daddy Kona Coffee — 87.57
  • 🥉 Elepoki Coffee — 87.27
Miranda's Farms also took first in the Innovative Unpulped Division, a fitting nod to a farm that never stops experimenting.

Our Partner, Now Best of Hawaiʻi

We are especially proud of this one. Miranda's Farms is a Savor Brands packaging partner, and seeing a coffee we help bring to shelf judged the best in the state is exactly the kind of moment we are in this for. Great packaging only matters when there is great coffee inside, and Miranda's just proved, on a statewide stage, that theirs is among the very best Hawaiʻi has to offer. Congratulations to the whole team.

More Winners Across the Islands

The top three were far from the only ones celebrating. Farms like Oʻo Farms earned honors across multiple categories, and producers throughout the competition's divisions took home recognition, a reminder of just how deep Hawaiʻi's coffee talent runs. You can see the complete list of category winners and scores on the Hawaii Coffee Association's announcement.

Mahalo to the Association, Judges, and Volunteers

A day like this does not happen without a lot of hands. Mahalo to the Hawaii Coffee Association, the Maui Coffee Association, The Best of Hawaiʻi, and the many volunteers who made the event possible, and to the judges who put in the careful, palate-testing work behind every score. To every farmer and producer who submitted a coffee this year: thank you for the work you do to grow the Hawaiʻi coffee industry. Here's to the 2026 winners, and to another year of exceptional island coffee. 🥂 Interested in championship-quality packaging for your own coffee? Contact us today!
